Melinda has a dangerous agenda. But, to realize her ambition, she will need to procure assistance from a few willing fools. When betrayal leads to desperation, who will fall and who will remain standing ?
about the film
In 2006, Lana Read (at that time, of Garnet Films) and Rhoda Cronebach (Kinetic Art Films) collaborated on their first co-produced project. With each of them contributing several facets of the production process, it became a fun learning experience that produced interesting results.
Admittedly, the film is far from perfect. It was only screened in front of one festival audience, and too much time has passed to work out any remaining technical issues. However, the beauty of a first film is not in it's final packaging. It's the stumbling blocks accrued along the way that feeds one's passion for filmmaking, and facilitates growth.
In retrospect, despite all the flaws, one cannot help but feel pride for their inagural attempt at cinematic art. It's about the process....start to finish, they accomplished a goal. They brought a story to life.
